Several visitors have asked “What is dogging and what are doggers?” Iit seems that they have stopped by out of curiosity so I shall attempt to explain. Dogging is a predominantly British activity that involves outdoor exhibitionism in car-parks, woodland and other likewise areas. It is where couples and even singles meet to have fun in and around their cars, knowing that they are being watched by all the voyeurs who have turned up hoping for an invite to join in on the fun. It could be described as a form of swinging outdoors. The term dogging originated in the early Seventies to describe men who spied on couples having sex outdoors, these men would ‘dog’ the couples’ every move in an effort to watch them. The swinging scene has been around for years but when they discovered that open-air sex has its own special thrill they began meeting in car-parks and woodlands. This gave the ‘doggers’ a rich new supply of voyeuristic fun. Moreover, the doggers soon realised that these couples were actively encouraging them to watch, even performing for them and sometimes allowing them to join in.
Sex Laws - This is how the current law stands at present regarding sex in public places. There are laws that protect members of the public from being unwilling witnesses to sexual behaviour or from being harassed or intimidated in their use of public spaces or facilities. So sex in public toilets, parks or places where other passers-by may be offended is illegal. If you are in a private place or in a location where you wouldn’t expect to be spied upon, then you’re probably okay. Prosecution relies on a third party onlooker getting upset and reporting you. So, if you want sex under the stars, make sure you pick a secluded spot.
